Location: College Station, Texas; on-campus position
Salary: $33,750 for a 9-month position (August–May)

Texas A&M University’s Disability Resources department supports an accessible learning environment for students with disabilities and administers more than 30,000 exams each academic year.
What you will do
- Maintain daily testing schedules, process exam requests, send reminders, and coordinate exams received from instructors.
- Provide front desk coverage, answer questions, greet students, and facilitate exam check-in and check-out.
- Proctor and monitor exams through local CCTV and online web conferencing while enforcing time limits and testing policies.
- Troubleshoot access, exam-material, AIM, Canvas, and other system issues.
- Create utilization spreadsheets and reports, book proctors and overflow space, and maintain office files, supplies, and equipment.
- Train and assign work to student employees and collaborate with instructors, supervisors, and Disability Resources staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of office administration experience.
- Ability to multitask, plan, organize, communicate effectively, and work cooperatively.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Evening work is required during final exam periods, usually 4–6 days in December and 4–6 days in May; occasional evening work may also be required.
Nice to have
- Ability to relate to people with disabilities and strong customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of assistive technology and higher education or student affairs.
- Knowledge of learning management systems and Zoom video conferencing.
