Nurse Manager - Cardiac OR

Location: Tufts Medical Center; Massachusetts RN licensure required

Salary: $134,525.66–$171,524.44 annually based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the designated cardiac operating room unit.
• Prepare staff schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate services to optimize patient care.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support orientation and development.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of practice.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets while implementing efficiency and cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead quality-improvement initiatives, policies, committees, and multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure
• At least five years of RN experience, including at least one year as a charge or lead RN.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Strong clinical judgment, nursing-process knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop staff.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
