Full Time RN Nursing Instructor (Nursing Education)

Location: Fresno, California, USA; campus-based position

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Deliver nursing education in skills labs, clinical settings, and simulation environments.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences at assigned healthcare facilities.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate attendance, skills check-off, and student records.
• Coordinate clinical assignments with student and facility needs.
• Submit program reports, attend faculty meetings, and participate in nursing program committees.

Requirements

• Valid, unencumbered California Board of Registered Nursing license.
• Eligibility for California Board of Registered Nursing instructor approval in an applicable nursing specialty.
• Master’s degree with relevant nursing, education, or administration coursework, or a BSN candidate currently enrolled in a Master’s program may be considered for a Clinical Teaching Assistant role.
• At least four years of registered nursing experience, including one year within the last five years, with direct patient care experience.
• Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, Community Health, or Critical Care.

Nice to have

• One year of nursing course teaching experience or completion of a nursing teaching course.
• Experience using online learning activities and innovative educational technologies.
