Senior Technology Risk Analyst

Salary: $83,969–$97,968 annually ($40–$47 per hour) plus a 15% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Partner with IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders to identify, assess, document, and monitor technology risks and controls.
• Facilitate process walkthroughs and risk assessments, maintain risk and control matrices, and document supporting evidence in the GRC platform.
• Identify control weaknesses and emerging risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support remediation planning and monitoring.
• Help mature the Technology Risk Management program through improved procedures, reporting, training, issue management, and control ownership.
• Provide risk consultation on acceptance decisions, remediation priorities, regulatory expectations, and control improvements.
• Lead multiple risk initiatives and assessments, monitor delivery, escalate concerns, and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a financial institution performing compliance, testing, monitoring, or similar risk management activities.
• Experience in technology risk management, IT processes, security operations, technology operations, application controls, and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of security controls and platforms including firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, and other security devices.
• Knowledge of financial-industry regulations and frameworks including PCI, GLBA, FFIEC, NIST, ISO 27000, HIPAA, OWASP, SSAE 18, SOC 2, and the Cloud Security Alliance.
• Bachelor's degree in risk, information technology, computer science, business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; 3+ years in a heightened-expectations regulatory environment is preferred.
• CRISC, CISSP, and CISA certifications are required within one year.
