Contract Specialist (Advanced Analyst)

What you will do

• Perform and train government personnel in cost/price analysis, fact-finding, audits, and contract-action negotiations.
• Support and work directly with the government Procurement Contracting Officer.
• Interface with contractors, DCAA, and DCMA.
• Develop briefs, training packages, Standard Operating Procedures, policy updates, and guidebooks.
• Prepare Price Negotiation Memorandums and Price Competition Memorandums.
• Perform administrative duties in ConWrite and CON-IT.

Requirements

• At least five years of contract management experience, preferably supporting space-related programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics.
• Experience with major DoD acquisition programs and proficiency in ConWrite.
• Proficiency in government pricing activities, including cost/price analysis, fact-finding, audits, and negotiations.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, associated supplements, and other regulatory requirements.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain the required security clearance.
