Sr Engineering Manager, Non-Standard Enclosures

Location: Hybrid in Anoka, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $123,500–$229,500 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead a multi-site North American custom enclosure engineering team and prioritize engineering resources and initiatives.
• Direct the engineering and design of custom enclosures within the Engineered To Order process.
• Provide technical leadership aligned with long-term product architecture while managing short-term custom design execution.
• Lead, coach, and mentor people leaders, engineers, and designers.
• Develop the engineering talent pipeline and influence recruitment and retention.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, process efficiency, and KPI-based execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in custom engineering design, process improvement, or technical program leadership.
• Understanding of engineering development processes, documentation practices, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to use data to guide decisions and strategies.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with transformation initiatives or enterprise engineering systems.
• Background in manufacturing, product development, or industrial engineering environments.
