Senior Systems Engineer (Defense)

hirify.global provides engineering and technical support for Air Force airborne battle management command-and-control systems, including AWACS modernization and future airborne C2 capabilities.

What you will do

• Support systems engineering for E-3 and E-7 AWACS platforms, including requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, verification, and validation.
• Review system and subsystem designs, technical baselines, engineering plans, test results, and alternative plans for compliance with program specifications.
• Conduct modeling and simulation, capability evaluations, performance analyses, trade studies, and system-level tests.
• Develop engineering documentation, technical presentations, reports, corrective-action materials, and Systems Engineering Plans.
• Support risk, configuration, technical data, interface, acquisition, sustainment, deployment, and operations activities.
• Collaborate with government personnel, military members, defense contractors, and engineering Integrated Product Teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the DoD, or 15 years of directly related experience, including at least 8 years in the DoD.
• Active Secret clearance is required and must be maintained.
• US citizenship is required.
• Experience with systems engineering documentation, requirements baselines, architecture, configuration management, technical reviews, and validation processes.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and work independently with geographically distributed engineering stakeholders.
