Senior Project Manager (Controls & Digitalization)

Location: Hybrid, with the role listed in Caracas, Venezuela and Mexico City, Mexico; occasional international and regional travel required.

What you will do

• Lead complex Controls & Digitalization projects across Latin America.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, milestones, and financial performance.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commissioning, Service, and Sales teams.
• Drive implementation of DCS, turbine controls, plant automation, electrical systems, cybersecurity, and digital solutions.
• Build customer relationships and act as the primary contact throughout project execution.
• Lead contract and change-order management and implement corrective actions to support profitability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of project management experience in industrial, power generation, automation, or energy projects.
• Experience with Controls & Digitalization projects involving DCS, PLC, SCADA, turbine controls, automation systems, or digital solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
• Advanced English and Spanish required.
• Availability for occasional international and regional travel.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Portuguese language skills.
