Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer – Automation, Agents, & Copilot

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $122,000–$168,000 per year.

What you will do

• Engineer, administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft 365 services across an enterprise environment.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 Copilot agents, SharePoint agents, and Copilot Studio solutions.
• Develop PowerShell scripts, modules, runbooks, Power Automate flows, approval workflows, and API-based integrations.
• Integrate Microsoft 365 with internal and approved external systems using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, connectors, and webhooks.
• Establish governance, security, compliance, monitoring, documentation, and lifecycle processes for services, automations, agents, and data.
• Support complex incidents, coordinate escalations, and provide technical guidance across engineering, security, operations, and support teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience engineering and administering Microsoft 365 services in a large or complex enterprise environment.
• Advanced PowerShell development experience, including production-quality scripts and modules.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, REST or SDK integrations, app registrations, permissions, OAuth, and least-privilege access.
• Experience developing Copilot agents or comparable AI-powered business solutions, with Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, or SharePoint agents.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 identity, licensing, security, compliance, governance, troubleshooting, and enterprise rollouts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Copilot connectors, Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Dataverse, or Power Platform governance.
• Experience with Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, release management, monitoring, telemetry, and operational KPIs.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, information protection, data oversharing risks, and Microsoft certifications.
