Software Engineer Lead (Fintech)

Location: US GA CMH ONE RIVERFRONT; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or applicable country without current or future immigration sponsorship

What you will do

• Develop moderately complex to highly complex front-end and back-end code for internal and external client software solutions.
• Design and deliver application architectures, program specifications, database integrations, and cloud infrastructure across multiple concurrent projects.
• Build, test, validate, document, and review complex code across distributed systems.
• Resolve complex code deficiencies, establish engineering standards, and drive development best practices.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, business teams, and technology teams on solution approaches and architectural direction.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance on application standards, security, compliance, and data governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus at least 8 years of progressive experience; alternatively, 3 years of post-secondary study and 9 years of experience.
• Experience developing data-intensive applications with Java, Python, JavaScript, COBOL, Mainframe Assembler, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, Postman, dependency injection, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, DDL/DML, AWS infrastructure, Apache Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and familiarity with LLMs including GPT, Claude, Gemini, and LLaMA.
