Logistics Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, New York, United States. This is an on-site role in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: $37,500–$63,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Support warehouse areas and on-site operations by supplying materials to the semiconductor fabrication facility.
• Perform manual and clerical logistics duties, including counting materials and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles, including equipment used at elevated heights with fall protection.
• Complete shift handoffs, follow detailed procedures, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, and security requirements in warehouse, chemical warehouse, and cleanroom environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Valid New York State driver’s license and ability to operate non-CDL company vehicles.
• Current CDL and ability to satisfy DOT qualification requirements, including medical certification and drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of a 12-hour shift, lift, pull, or carry at least 50 pounds, and perform bending, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to work on-site in warehouse and cleanroom environments, wear required PPE and cleanroom suits, and work outdoors in inclement weather when required.

Nice to have

• Warehouse experience with forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment.
• Experience packing, wrapping, and crating materials.
• Familiarity with Lean, 6S, and Kaizen processes.
• Experience with troubleshooting and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to participate in continuous improvement, training, and skills development.
