Senior IT Program Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: San Diego, California, United States

Annual base salary: $103,300–$141,000, plus a target annual bonus of 20% and eligibility for an equity-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Support or lead moderately complex IT initiatives from initiation through stabilization.
• Translate objectives into project plans, milestones, deliverables, and measurable business outcomes.
• Manage tasks, risks, issues, dependencies, scope, quality, budget, and delivery schedules.
• Embed regulatory, validation, and compliance requirements into clinical and regulatory systems projects.
• Prepare project, portfolio, and steering committee reporting and track value realization.
• Coordinate with IT Business Partners and business stakeholders on demand intake, platform roadmaps, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field, plus 4+ years of relevant IT experience in a pharmaceutical company; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree and 2+ years of similar experience.
• Experience with FDA regulations and validated applications for regulatory purposes in a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Knowledge of web applications, electronic document management, electronic publishing for regulatory filings, databases, data warehousing, and data mining.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and tools including MS SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Visual Basic, MS Access, MS Project, IIS, HTML, XML, SGML, JavaScript, and VBScript.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and deadline-management skills.
• Knowledge of Commercial Operations, including field or product support, Omnichannel activities, and related business processes.
