Manager CMC Program Operations (AI)

Salary: $141,698–$173,186 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Build and maintain master CMC project plans, including task interdependencies, critical paths, and schedule-risk monitoring.
• Design and deploy AI-assisted and automated tools such as smart dashboards, natural-language status summaries, and predictive risk-flagging models.
• Publish recurring dashboards and executive-ready reports covering progress, critical-path changes, program health, and emerging risks.
• Coordinate CMC meetings, agendas, minutes, action items, risk reviews, and follow-through across cross-functional teams.
• Track regulatory and post-approval commitments in partnership with Regulatory, Process Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Modernize CMC workflows and scale repeatable digital tools, process improvements, and operational standards across the pipeline organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; PMP certification is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences environments, including CMC development; cell and gene therapy experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of dedicated CMC or operations project management experience.
• Strong project management skills with MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent, including critical-path and risk-management experience.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI, automation, low-code/no-code platforms, scripting, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for operational reporting.
• Working knowledge of GMP, quality, supply chain, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to influence stakeholders across matrixed teams.

Nice to have

• Cell and gene therapy experience.
• PMP certification.
• Experience deploying AI-enabled tools for program or operations reporting.
