Web Designer (AI)

Location: On-site five days per week in San Francisco, within walking distance of Caltrain

What you will do

• Own the website end to end, including concept, design, prototyping, frontend development, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Design and build product pages, campaign landing pages, launch experiences, and interactive product demonstrations.
• Implement motion, animation, page transitions, scroll-driven storytelling, hover states, and browser interactions.
• Develop the site's visual language and reusable components for efficient page delivery.
• Partner with Design, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to explain technical capabilities through clear interactive experiences.
• Improve navigation, engagement, and conversion using analytics, user feedback, and experimentation.

Requirements

• Experience designing and building production websites, supported by a portfolio of live work.
• Strong typography, layout, composition, and interaction design skills.
• Proficiency in Figma and a workflow spanning design, prototyping, and code.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with experience using a modern frontend framework such as React or Next.js.
• Experience with web animation, responsive design, accessibility, browser behavior, and web performance.
• Experience using AI tools to prototype and build, with the ability to review and refine their output.

Nice to have

• Experience with creative coding, WebGL, 3D, or animation tools such as GSAP, Motion, or Rive.
