Location: United States; applicants must reside in Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, or the District of Columbia. The role requires at least 80% travel for in-home care operations. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm local time, with flexibility based on member needs, visit locations, and virtual acute care support.
Salary: $29-$36 per hour, plus an annual bonus incentive and potential employee equity purchase program participation.

What you will do
- Travel to members’ homes and community locations to respond to acute and episodic medical, behavioral, and social needs.
- Provide compassionate pediatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team under the direct guidance of physicians when therapeutic intervention is required.
- Support urgent care needs, clinical intake visits, member onboarding, and care coordination.
- Engage with members after inpatient admissions or emergency department visits to prevent readmissions and address root causes.
- Document care in the Athena EMR and communicate with families through the proprietary application.
- Use virtual platforms and digital tools to support care delivery.
Requirements
- EMT-Paramedic with an active Texas license and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic certification.
- PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- At least 3 years of field clinical experience.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to drive long distances in varied weather conditions.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and technology navigation skills.
- Residence in one of the listed US states or the District of Columbia and availability for at least 80% travel are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with pediatric patients.
- Experience in critical care, primary care, telehealth, community paramedicine, mobile integrated healthcare, emergency room, or value-based care delivery.
- Conversational or professional Spanish skills.
