Business Analyst 3

Location: Fully remote within the United States

What you will do

• Analyze USPS business and technical processes and identify requirements for new or modified information systems.
• Coordinate between business stakeholders, users, architects, developers, and testing teams.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and system procedures.
• Develop test procedures and plans, execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing, and verify defect fixes.
• Create dashboards, analyze data, identify automation opportunities, and support solution validation.
• Assist with Agile ceremonies, release management, and critical incident management.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, or related work.
• Suitability/Public Trust clearance required.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, Agile methodologies, test planning, UAT, defect management, and traceability.
• Experience with ALM/VersionOne and API testing tools such as Postman; basic SQL knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of Java, UNIX, and SQL with Oracle Database is required among the listed qualifications; a relevant bachelor's degree is preferred.
