Backend/Infrastructure AI Engineer (Crypto)

Location: Europe remote considered; London preferred. Timezone: GMT+1.

Salary: £150,000–£230,000 base per year, plus bonus schemes and equity.

What you will do

• Build internal tooling and automation for engineering teams.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows that make AI more accessible across the engineering organisation.
• Connect internal systems and streamline engineering processes.
• Work across software engineering and infrastructure, with an approximately 50/50 focus.
• Create high-impact solutions with significant autonomy.

Requirements

• Strong backend and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with internal tooling, developer experience, or automation.
• Strong interest in applying AI to engineering workflows.
• Ability to work across a preferred technology stack; no specific AI stack is required.
• Creative, proactive, and highly motivated to build.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto or blockchain infrastructure.
