GPU Engineering Manager (GPU Hardware)

Location: Hybrid work model with on-site work at assigned Intel sites in Santa Clara, California, or Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Salary: $220,920–$311,890 USD annual salary.

What you will do

• Lead GPU hardware platform design from feasibility studies through board layout, tapeout, and platform power-on.
• Design and evaluate electronic components, PCBs, and integrated circuits for GPU platforms.
• Translate platform requirements into detailed specifications and define component placement and trace-routing rules.
• Conduct functionality testing and verify platform configuration, compatibility, and compliance with PCIe and OAM standards.
• Research and validate firmware, hardware, and circuitry processes to improve GPU platform performance.
• Collaborate with architecture, power, thermal, mechanical, and firmware teams on system development, testing, manufacturing, and debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of hardware design and development experience with a bachelor's degree, 8+ years with a master's degree, or 6+ years with a Ph.D.
• Proficiency with electronic design automation tools and PCB board-layout software.
• Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal design.
• Knowledge of PCIe and OAM standards and GPU platform testing and validation methodologies.
• Ability to work under a hybrid model with on-site attendance at an assigned United States Intel site.
