IT Specialist

Location: Watervliet, United States; U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required.

Salary: $76,900–$115,400 per year

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers, network equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, system access, and network connectivity issues.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with cybersecurity policies.
• Monitor system and network performance, implement security measures, and support vulnerability remediation and incident response.
• Manage backups, software inventories, technology assets, and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders on IT projects and modernization efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise computer systems, networks, servers, software applications, and end-user devices.
• Knowledge of system administration, networking, cybersecurity principles, and IT support practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and common network technologies.
• Proficiency with IT service management tools, system monitoring applications, and technical documentation.
• U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required.
