Senior Backend Developer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Build and ship robust backend services with measurable product impact.
• Improve system scalability, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, quality engineers, DevOps engineers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end platform capabilities.
• Model business domains using clean and performant data structures.
• Lead technical delivery for initiatives within a domain or project and make architectural decisions.
• Coach and mentor engineers on engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering products with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, REST and/or GraphQL APIs, monorepos, and modular architectures.
• Proficiency in data modeling and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and architectural decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Keycloak or other identity management solutions.
• Experience with Vue.js or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience with rendering technologies such as FFmpeg, motion graphics, or visual effects software such as After Effects.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, or public cloud platforms such as GCP.
