Senior Planner (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Create manageable and efficient production plans using commercial input and system requirements.
• Apply hirify.global Materials System strategies to improve on-time delivery, reduce past-due backlog, and optimize inventory.
• Identify and troubleshoot material shortages, excess inventory, and other supply issues using data-driven problem solving.
• Work cross-functionally to maintain material continuity and support customer experience improvements.
• Maintain healthy available-off-shelf levels and improve schedule attainment with production.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a planning function.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics, working with internal and external suppliers to ensure material delivery and priorities.
• Ability to read and communicate technical requirements across internal and external departments.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, demand and supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.
• Ability to work onsite in DeLand, Florida, United States.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing planning experience, including capacity planning and setup wheel experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Supplier Pull Systems, Vendor Managed Inventory, Lean Daily Management, and lean improvement events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
