Manager, Legal Operations Technology, Analytics & Financial Operations

Location: Onsite at the EDS Troy Corporate Offices in Troy, Michigan, USA. Local residents or candidates willing to relocate only.

What you will do

• Own business requirements, reporting, workflows, integrations, testing, adoption, and optimization for ONIT, iCertis, NAVEX, Diligent, TrustPoint, and related legal technology platforms.
• Develop legal operations KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, executive reporting, data governance standards, and data quality controls.
• Support contract lifecycle management, corporate governance, records management, intellectual property, M&A, and related operational reporting.
• Administer outside counsel and legal vendor programs, including onboarding, panel management, performance reviews, RFPs, benchmarking, and compliance monitoring.
• Manage legal spend operations, budgeting, forecasting, accruals, invoice administration, billing compliance, and periodic reviews with Legal and Finance.
• Lead automation, AI-enabled legal technology adoption, continuous improvement, and complex cross-functional initiatives with Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, eBilling, legal financial management, legal analytics, vendor management, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise legal management and legal technology platforms such as ONIT, Legal Tracker, Brightflag, Mitratech, SimpleLegal, iCertis, Diligent, or NAVEX.
• Demonstrated experience with legal spend management, outside counsel operations, reporting, dashboards, data analytics, and financial controls.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, reporting platforms, and data analysis tools.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
• Professional English proficiency, legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship, and ability to work onsite in Troy, Michigan are required.

Nice to have

• MBA, master’s degree, CLOC certification, or a project management credential such as PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Experience managing legal spend programs exceeding several million dollars annually.
• Experience with legal AI tools such as Harvey, Legora, CoCounsel, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience supporting public-company legal departments, law firm panel management, or legal vendor governance.
