ManManager, Legal Operations Programs & Governance

Location: Onsite at the EDS Troy Corporate Offices in Troy, Michigan, USA. Local residents or candidates willing to relocate may apply. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer.

What you will do

• Lead global legal operations programs, governance frameworks, operating procedures, project plans, and reporting.
• Administer legal intake, triage, matter lifecycle, workload management, service-level expectations, and data quality processes.
• Coordinate litigation, employment, investigations, eDiscovery, legal holds, records management, and information governance workflows.
• Support compliance operations, privacy processes, remediation tracking, regulatory initiatives, commercial contracting, CLM, corporate governance, IP, and M&A activities.
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, training materials, knowledge repositories, and change-management programs.
• Manage multiple global projects, align stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive adoption across Legal, HR, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8 years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, legal administration, compliance operations, litigation support, or a related field.
• Experience supporting global legal departments or complex corporate functions and leading cross-functional process improvement projects.
• Experience with legal technology such as matter management, legal holds, compliance systems, document repositories, ONIT, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with CLM processes and legal service delivery workflows in a multinational corporate environment.
• Professional proficiency in English and the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship are required.

Nice to have

• Project management certification or training such as PMP, CAPM, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma.
• Master's degree, MBA, paralegal certificate, CLOC certification, or equivalent credential.
• Experience with legal hold, litigation management, compliance investigations, information governance, or legal technology implementations.
• Familiarity with NAVEX, Diligent, Trustpoint One, Purview, Exterro, Relativity, iCertis, or similar platforms.
• Experience in publicly traded, manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or highly regulated environments.
