Data Scientist (Climate)

Location: Must be based in London and able to work from the office three days a week

Compensation: £450 – £600 per day

What you will do

• Develop code to quantify net carbon removal or reduction in biosphere projects.
• Conduct AGB estimates and develop dynamic baseline and uncertainty quantification approaches.
• Provide bespoke indicative analysis to support the commercial team.
• Abstract custom solutions into reusable code components.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Biosphere Science teams to review and adapt technical approaches.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data analysis, geospatial data, and cloud-hosted tools like BigQuery and Jupyter.
• Strong Python skills with experience in data abstractions and pipeline management.
• Experience integrating machine learning solutions.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work directly with customers.
• Proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
