Senior Regional Operations Specialist

Location: Madrid, Spain, with a hybrid work model and regular travel around Spain

Flix operates a technology-driven intercity travel network focused on accessible, sustainable, and affordable bus transportation.

What you will do

• Manage onboarding, training, compliance, safety, quality, and punctuality for bus partners in Spain.
• Train and support partner drivers and supervisors and conduct regular bus and field inspections.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify improvement areas, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, coach operators, infrastructure providers, and other operational stakeholders.
• Oversee the launch and continuous improvement of new lines and stops.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve passenger and driver experience.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in operations or a dynamic daily operational environment.
• Native or proficient Spanish and highly fluent English; language skills will be tested.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, social, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze reports, draw conclusions, and develop solutions.
• Organized, independent, reliable, responsible, flexible, and hands-on working style.
• Willingness to travel regularly around Spain.
