Lead Fullstack Engineer (Vue)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; remote. Hybrid work is available for candidates in Ho Chi Minh City, while remote work is available for candidates outside Ho Chi Minh City.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise insurance software solutions.
• Provide technical direction across frontend and backend technologies, architecture, technology selection, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive user experiences.
• Optimize performance for large datasets and high user traffic while designing for scalability and flexibility.
• Lead code reviews, investigate bugs, and uphold software quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team toward current technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, including experience leading complex SaaS applications.
• At least 2 years in a lead or manager role.
• Strong backend experience with .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript, Vue.js, and/or React.js, plus cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices, clean architecture, Test-Driven Development, unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, web security, performance optimization, agile development, and cross-functional collaboration.
