Support Engineer, SAP FICO

Location: Remote in Brazil

What you will do

• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues across SAP Finance and Controlling, Treasury and Risk Management, and Financial Supply Chain Management.
• Provide remote functional support, training, customization guidance, and implementation best-practice advice.
• Diagnose defects using SAP technical tools and ABAP debugging, then develop, test, package, and deliver application fixes.
• Create scripts to identify, analyze, and correct data issues in complex integrated environments.
• Manage assigned customer accounts as a technical and functional advisor and collaborate with virtual support teams.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing methods, diagnostic tools, and support processes for a 24x7x365 organization.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant SAP experience, including SAP Finance and Controlling and direct support of application end users.
• Experience with SAP 4.x and ECC, full lifecycle implementations, configuration, administration, maintenance, patching, and SAP architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting, ABAP debugging, SAP customization and extension, application functionality, tables, and integration skills.
• Knowledge of Brazilian localization tax and regulatory requirements, including Sped, ICMS/IPI, NFe, and technical notes.
• Successful participation in SAP implementation or upgrade projects, with experience solving complex issues across multiple modules.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TRM, FSCM, Asset Management, country-specific solutions, and global implementations.
• At least two full lifecycle implementations in Brazil and extensive knowledge of Brazilian statutory and regulatory requirements.
• SAP certification, consulting experience, and experience across multiple SAP releases.
