Chargeback Team Lead (Payments)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $32.00–$35.00 per hour USD

What you will do

• Coach, onboard, train, and develop Chargeback Specialists.
• Monitor workloads, queues, staffing priorities, service levels, and deadlines.
• Serve as the escalation point for operational and employee questions.
• Oversee quality, productivity, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Partner with business units, internal departments, and leadership on operational priorities and changes.
• Improve workflows, documentation, procedures, and chargeback operations through process and system enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in chargebacks, dispute resolution, fraud operations, or payment processing.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or coordinating a team.
• Advanced knowledge of chargeback regulations, dispute processes, fraud prevention, recovery practices, and card network requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance quality, productivity, compliance, service levels, and competing priorities.
