Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Cloud)

Location: Leeds or Doncaster, UK; hybrid with 3 days per week onsite

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum plus package

What you will do

• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and core infrastructure services.
• Manage Azure AD, Entra ID, Active Directory, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Deliver cloud services, infrastructure improvements, and technical projects from design through implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud incidents and act as an escalation point.
• Improve security across cloud and on-premise environments, including identity, endpoint management, and data protection.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions and maintain technical documentation, standards, and support procedures.

Requirements

• Professional experience supporting Microsoft Cloud technologies in a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, MFA, DLP, and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms such as Mimecast, Cisco Umbrella, or identity management solutions.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Working knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, storage, on-premise infrastructure, SQL or relational databases, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Microsoft certifications or equivalent commercial experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
