is building an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform focused on simplicity, AI-centric development, transparent pricing, and cost control.
What you will do
- Build and evolve Darkplane, the platform for AI-enabled software development workflows.
- Develop backend and platform capabilities including ingest pipelines, evaluation runtimes, data models, control-plane services, and analytics services.
- Design and harden systems for running untrusted code and supporting safe adoption of AI in software development.
- Partner with AI engineers to make agentic workflows reliable, fast, and predictable in production.
- Shape developer workflows, feedback loops, and guardrails for trustworthy AI-authored code.
- Talk to customers, make product decisions, identify technical risks, and co-own platform stability and observability.
Requirements
- TypeScript, Node.js, and Go experience, or the ability to quickly learn them with coding agents.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and production reliability.
- Data-modeling experience with relational databases such as Postgres and analytical stores such as ClickHouse.
- Experience with agentic AI systems, LLM pipelines, or code sandbox environments.
- End-to-end product ownership and ideation experience, including frontend development.
- Clear communication, independent work habits, and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem or observability tooling.
- Experience building analytical and experimentation platforms.
- Fluency with AI and agentic coding tools.
