Project Engineer – Site Infrastructure (Industrial Infrastructure)

Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States; onsite five days a week at the Tucson office. The role requires up to 25% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Define infrastructure requirements, research emerging technologies, test solutions, and prepare recommendations with target performance levels.
• Collaborate with platform and commercial teams to define customer needs and improve infrastructure capability, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Participate in architecture reviews, site-readiness assessments, infrastructure validation, and deployment certification for customer sites.
• Consult on integration issues involving communications, GNSS, data centers, cloud connectivity, autonomy infrastructure, and existing customer environments.
• Develop reference architectures and standards for networking, positioning, compute platforms, remote connectivity, and site operations centers.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing large-scale enterprise or industrial infrastructure architectures and converting customer requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Knowledge of networking, compute, storage, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, industrial networking, GNSS infrastructure, data centers, and cloud connectivity.
• Ability to facilitate architecture reviews, evaluate infrastructure trade-offs, communicate complex concepts, and manage multiple technical initiatives.
• Ability to develop infrastructure strategies supporting construction modernization, autonomy, scalability, and future technology growth.
• Availability to work onsite full-time in Tucson, Arizona, and travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, testing, or deploying construction technology such as 3D Grade, Compaction, Payload, or Load and Haul systems.
• Experience with industrial Ethernet, Wi-Fi, LTE, GNSS, RTK correction systems, site surveys, or machine positioning.
• Experience supporting construction, autonomous systems, fleet management, mining operations, or customer site operations.
• Leadership experience facilitating architecture reviews and customer technical workshops.
