Senior Applied AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship AI agents that automate fund-operations workflows from prototype through production.
• Develop evaluation systems using real documents, regression suites, human review, and measurable success criteria.
• Own AI application architecture, including orchestration, multi-agent design, tool contracts, memory, RAG, MCP, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Operate production AI workloads with versioned rollouts, feature flags, rate limits, provider fallback, regional failover, and observability within EU data residency.
• Review and launch the MCP offering, establish shared AI observability, and publish reusable agent-development patterns.
• Partner with DevX and mentor engineers across teams on agent and LLM practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software, including an agent or LLM-powered capability owned end to end.
• Deep experience with agent orchestration and context engineering, including tool contracts, memory, RAG, and multi-agent design.
• Experience integrating agents into real products and authorization systems using Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• Ability to evaluate non-deterministic systems using real-data test cases, regression suites, human review, and meaningful benchmarks.
• Production backend experience with TypeScript and/or Python, including diagnosing failures and managing provider limits, fallback, cost, and latency.
• Platform-oriented approach with experience setting engineering standards adopted by other teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, private markets, regulated environments, or document-heavy domains.
• Experience working under EU data-residency constraints.
• Frontend experience with Svelte or React.
