Software Engineer (React/Node)

Location: Hybrid role based in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

hirify.global is expanding software engineering teams working on projects in the space sector.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and develop software components for project-specific web applications.
• Build backend services and APIs, including REST and GraphQL integrations.
• Develop frontend web interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Integrate applications with external systems and collaborate on testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work in multidisciplinary and collaborative development environments.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Experience developing backend and frontend solutions within complex systems.
• Experience with SQL databases, provisioning SQL instances, and designing database schemas from scratch.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI, HTML/CSS, web design principles, Git, branching workflows, and collaborative development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI, programming agents, and Python 3.
