Subcontracts Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States; willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support subcontract administrators with negotiations, supplier selection, pricing, forecasts, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Administer RFQs by distributing technical packages and Statements of Work, collecting supplier quotations, and comparing pricing, labor rates, lead times, and terms.
• Manage selected service suppliers with mentorship, including pricing, scope, schedule changes, milestone deliverables, and project updates.
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, Finance, Accounts Payable, and other teams on requirements, deliverable acceptance, invoice validation, and payment discrepancies.
• Support purchase orders, service subcontracts, compliance documentation, scope amendments, and technical requirement updates.
• Identify and implement AI and digital tools to improve purchasing-team efficiency.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for Summer 2027; relocation assistance is available for candidates whose permanent address is more than 50 miles from Oshkosh.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
