Financial Analyst II, FP&A (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $68,000–$107,000 per year base pay for candidates based in the United States. Expected OTE is $77,000–$121,000 per year, including bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Partner with CIO leadership and business leaders across Corporate IT, Business Systems, and Data Analytics to develop technology budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Track and report technology financial metrics, including AI tokenization spend, infrastructure spend, cloud consumption, licensing costs, vendor contracts, and IT operational KPIs.
• Support monthly close activities and ensure accurate tracking of technology and AI investments with accounting and operations teams.
• Analyze actual results against targets, prepare variance commentary, and present findings to Finance and CIO leadership.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for AI investments, cloud migration, infrastructure investments, modernization, and operational efficiency.
• Support contract analysis, cost optimization initiatives, and strategic technology planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance and FP&A, preferably in technology.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex technology and financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of technology infrastructure, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and enterprise technology investments is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with FP&A platforms such as Pigment or similar tools.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools, AI platforms, and data analytics platforms.
