Base pay range: $85,000–$100,000 USD per year

is an end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems for space missions, including flight software, payloads, and spacecraft components.
What you will do
- Develop application software for RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
- Build hardware drivers for IMUs, star trackers, reaction wheels, and other spacecraft sensors and actuators.
- Develop comprehensive unit tests within a continuous integration framework.
- Collaborate with hardware-in-the-loop test engineers to verify combined software and hardware functionality.
- Work with systems and embedded systems engineers to develop, document, and validate requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and on-orbit and interplanetary flight operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
- For U.S. office roles, eligibility under U.S. space technology export regulations is required.
Nice to have
- Active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience with Rust.
- Advanced degree.
- Experience with CAN/CAN-FD and/or UDP/TCP in embedded systems.
- Experience developing software for autonomous vehicles operating in harsh environments, such as satellites.
