Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (eMobility)

Location: Full remote within Bulgaria; hybrid option with 1–2 days per week at the EUREF Campus office in Berlin and the remainder remote.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain and operate scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript.
• Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code and software engineering practices.
• Develop cloud-native applications on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Architecture and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve reliability and security, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Several years of full-stack development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and SCSS.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems and modern software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Redis, plus automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of clean code, software design patterns, secure software development and performance optimization.
• Fluent English is required; English is the company language. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is expected.
