Focus on VAT returns, cash-flow monitoring, budgeting data, and supporting ERP and finance transformation projects.

Location: Italy, fully remote

What you will do

  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including invoice posting, payment processing, and reconciliations.
  • Post Italian passive invoices and review foreign passive invoice registrations.
  • Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Manage VAT returns, tax filings, and coordination with external consultants and tax advisors.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts, execute payments, and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Contribute to group-wide ERP, finance tools, and cross-country finance initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in similar accounting roles.
  • Prior experience working with Italian companies.
  • Strong technical Excel skills.
  • Proficient English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experience applying AI tools to finance and accounting workflows.
  • Proficiency in Italian.
