Ocean Freight Import Head

hirify.global is hiring for a leadership role in ocean freight import operations.

What you will do

• Lead the Import team and deliver office targets, business objectives, and customer service goals.
• Manage Import operations, including budgeting, financial planning, compliance, documentation, and performance standards.
• Develop relationships with key customers and support the growth of existing and new business portfolios.
• Represent hirify.global with local governments, partners, customers, communities, and local boards.
• Review processes, use IT tools, improve productivity, and contribute to cost-saving and innovation initiatives.
• Build team capability through recruitment, induction, training, development planning, and leadership-pipeline development.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in ocean freight, import, logistics, or supply chain.
• At least 5 years of experience in a team leader, supervisory, or management role.
• Managerial experience in operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, transportation, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• Graduate-level education required; additional qualifications in supply chain management are helpful.
