Technical Presales Engineer

Location: Offsite - Indonesia; travel of more than 50% to partner and customer locations, including overseas travel when required.

What you will do

• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, proofs of concept, scopes of work, and responses to tenders and RFPs.
• Work with enterprise and channel account managers, VARs, MSPs, alliance partners, customers, and other stakeholders to support the sales process.
• Design tailored video collaboration, personal workspace, and software solutions integrating hardware and software components.
• Provide partner and customer training through hands-on sessions, bootcamps, webinars, technical enablement, and knowledge transfer.
• Lead discussions on VCaaS and cloud interoperability with Google, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, as well as competitor positioning.
• Support technical troubleshooting, post-sales customer satisfaction, partner adoption, demo equipment, and demo room readiness.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of technical experience, including at least 5 years in AV, UC, or VC environments.
• Tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of video collaboration technologies, personal collaboration devices, hardware, software, and complex solution integration.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet; knowledge of IT networks, cybersecurity, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience with strategic technical discussions, customer and partner relationships, presentations, and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of H.323 and SIP-based video conferencing endpoints.
• Experience with hirify.global, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Huddly, Extron, or QSC hardware.
• Knowledge of conference room design, AV devices, debugging, failure analysis, and functional verification.
