TL;DR
Logistics Specialist III (Deployable) (Aerospace and Defense): Leading complex logistics projects and optimizing material, inventory, and storage operations for deployed ISR and aviation programs with an accent on regulatory compliance, supply chain planning, and international deployment. Focus on coordinating high-value logistics activities, maintaining equipment records, managing import/export requirements, and supporting OCONUS operations on a 90/90 rotation.
Location: Clovis, New Mexico, at Cannon AFB; the role requires extended OCONUS deployments on an approximate 90/90 rotation and may involve office or hybrid work.

What you will do
- Lead complex logistics projects, including material preparation, documentation, routing, and delivery coordination.
- Develop strategic logistics plans and improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Analyze and maintain records for equipment, components, repair parts, and technical manuals.
- Organize storage facilities and improve the allocation of logistics materials.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, global, and import/export regulations.
- Mentor Logistics Specialists I and II and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of logistics regulations, inventory and supply chain principles, inventory databases, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Current U.S. citizenship and an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
- Ability to deploy to OCONUS locations, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and obtain international travel visas.
- Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and shifts; lift up to 25 pounds; remain on foot for much of the shift; and work in loud environments.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Expert proficiency with logistics software and tools, including AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.
- HazMat training or certification and forklift experience.
- Experience with FedEx, DHL, UPS, or other shipping databases.
- CDL, clean driving record, shelf-life knowledge, and aerospace, defense, DoD, or military experience.
