Lead MAC Digitalization Engineer (IIoT)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite for an ADNOC PMC project

What you will do

• Lead the project digitalization strategy, implementation roadmap, and deployment of automation, Industrial IoT, data analytics, AI-enabled solutions, and OT/IT systems.
• Review and approve digital solutions, architectures, implementation plans, dashboards, data models, digital twins, analytics tools, and reporting platforms.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, IT, OT, business stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and technology providers.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance against digitalization deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with digital governance frameworks, cybersecurity requirements, industry standards, HSE policies, cost targets, and schedules.
• Identify transformation opportunities, manage digitalization risks, track benefits realization, and report performance and improvement recommendations to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, including preferably 5 years in the GCC region.
• At least 3 years of experience managing specialists, senior engineers, and engineers.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role on international oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
• Experience working with a Main Automation Contractor on projects involving multiple EP contractors, including resolving interface issues.
• ADNOC experience with onshore and offshore assets is required; H2S experience is preferred.
