Senior Software QA Engineer (Python)

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Salary: PLN 160,200–297,300 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Design and maintain end-to-end validation across user interfaces, REST APIs, SQL databases, and Databricks tables.
• Build automated tests for bulk, delta, and rebulk ETL processing, contract checks, and quality-control reports.
• Verify calculated KPIs and metrics against source healthcare data.
• Develop Python libraries and Robot Framework keywords for Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, data comparison, and healthcare-specific validation.
• Manage test data pipelines and integrate automated tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD.
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers while collaborating with architects, developers, product owners, UX designers, and other QA engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of software testing experience, including complex data workflow test-case design.
• Experience with Robot Framework or similar automation tools, intermediate Python, and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Git workflows, CI/CD tools, and Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of defect tracking, Docker, container orchestration basics, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java or Scala.
• Experience working with teams across Europe and in remote delivery environments.
