Senior QA Automation Engineer (Backend/Python)

🚀 Senior QA Automation Engineer | Backend | Python

We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join an ongoing project for a global mobility & urban services platform.

What you’ll do:
• Test backend services and analyze test results
• Develop and maintain automated API tests
• Create test plans, test cases and technical documentation
• Identify, document and track defects
• Analyze backend service logs
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Developers, TechOps and other teams
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Improve QA processes and testing practices

What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of overall engineering experience
• 3+ years in test automation, mainly backend testing
• Strong Python + Pytest skills
• RESTful & gRPC API testing
• Good understanding of client-server / microservice architecture
• Linux + Bash scripting
• Docker & Kubernetes
• CI/CD knowledge
• Basic SQL
• Kafka and/or Kibana experience
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Active use of AI assistants

💰 Rate: $35–40/hour
