Field Service Tech (Industrial Gas Systems)

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee, with service at hirify.global facilities and customer sites

What you will do

• Install and maintain nitrogen on-site generation equipment and cryogenic bulk installations.
• Repair pressure reduction equipment, piping systems, compressors, and electrical systems, including motor controls, relays, and alarm systems.
• Perform site surveys, annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs at bulk installation sites.
• Respond to equipment emergencies 24 hours per day through assigned emergency coverage arrangements.
• Install hazard and equipment identification signs and maintain security fencing around installations.
• Maintain recommended spare parts and ensure compliance with safety policies, company procedures, and applicable codes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and repair skills.
• Previous HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or welding experience is preferred.
• Two or more years of industrial field service experience, preferably with gas generation systems, is preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 99, NFPA 55, cryogenic and high-pressure gas hazards, equipment, containers, and piping systems is preferred.
• Must have or obtain a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days; training and certification support are provided.
