ISA Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Drive mechanical design execution for Integrated Scan Assembly across architecture, part design, prototyping, build support, verification, and design iteration.
• Own mechanical verification and validation activities, including test plans, technical risks, execution, and closure.
• Collaborate with firmware, servo, IQ, electrical engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, quality, and supplies teams.
• Develop and implement validation plans covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock, vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, and reliability.
• Lead mechanical hardware engineers and outsourced development partners while managing deliverables, quality, schedules, and costs.
• Improve processes, resolve moderately complex technical issues, document outcomes, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in engineering design, hardware development lifecycle execution, or a related field; an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience may be considered.
• Experience with mechanical engineering, mechanical design, product design, mechanical systems, electromechanics, and engineering design processes.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling, computer-aided design, prototyping, product lifecycle management, manufacturing processes, machining, sheet metal, and injection molding.
• Experience with Ansys Simulation Software, PTC Creo, SolidWorks, finite element methods, and thermal management.
• Role based in Singapore.
