Senior Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineering (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and verify new mechanical products and subsystems from concept through production.
• Define engineering solutions and processes with project teams, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
• Lead mechanical design activities at component and subsystem level and contribute to design architecture.
• Resolve technical issues, identify risks, and make structured, data-based engineering decisions.
• Support process improvements and ensure compliance with hirify.global engineering practices and quality standards.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and provide technical guidance within project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Significant product development experience designing complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, including design history file documentation.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, with proficiency in 3D CAD; PTC Creo is preferred.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools such as Ansys, MoldFlow, or Minitab.
• Experience with requirements-traced testing, verification, validation, and test or process measurement capabilities.
