Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and related processes.
• Perform engineering analysis, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and apply engineering processes to resolve them.
• Prepare engineering test reports and alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Support the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with the basic theories and concepts of mechanical engineering.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of related experience.
• Preferred: understanding of thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
