Focus on evaluating application capabilities, migrating or retaining legacy data, maintaining architecture documentation, and coordinating analyst-led projects.

What you will do

  • Track software applications, related assets, inventories, dependencies, integrations, and architecture documentation.
  • Assess new and existing applications against business requirements, capabilities, costs, usage, relevance, and strategic alignment.
  • Support application rationalization, upgrades, security patching, lifecycle management, decommissioning, and data archiving.
  • Facilitate the extraction, transformation, and migration of historical data from legacy applications.
  • Maintain application and team documentation and support compliance with legal, security, disaster recovery, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate smaller analyst-led projects, vendor relationships, follow-ups, scheduling, and project status communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant education with 8+ years of industry experience.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare IT or an equivalent IT application analyst role.
  • Experience with ITIL-aligned Incident, Request, and Change Management processes.
  • Knowledge of application infrastructure, databases, integrations, dependencies, underlying technologies, and application lifecycle management.
  • Experience with application support, inventory tracking, data retention policies, documentation, and application rationalization.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, customer service, collaboration, and the ability to work independently.
