Delivery Depot Cluster Manager (Last Mile Logistics)

Location: Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle, United Kingdom. The role requires full on-site coverage across multiple delivery depots and regular travel between cluster sites.

What you will do

• Own operations across a geographically defined cluster of delivery stations.
• Lead people, safety, performance, quality, security, and compliance across all sites.
• Direct daily operations, resource allocation, shift planning, staffing, and capacity management.
• Act as the escalation point for operational, service, and people issues.
• Manage partner performance through KPIs and structured reviews with country and regional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics, operations management, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Fluent English required for briefings, reporting, and cross-functional communication.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, ideally including last-mile delivery.
• Experience managing multiple sites or multi-team operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, KPI-driven decision-making, and proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coordinate with transport, HR, and customer service teams and travel regularly between cluster sites.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, courier, or delivery service operations.
• Experience managing partners and performance frameworks.
• Familiarity with delivery management platforms and routing optimisation tools.
• Additional regional language skills.
